Literature Text

Emptiness consumes the soul,
Will I ever reach my goal,
Of having you by my side,
When it comes time, and I've died?
We die, as we’re born, so cold and alone,
Or so these fabricated stories are sewn.
I refuse to listen, for I want you there,
Close to me with your hand in my hair.
As the thickness fills the air,
The last thing I want is thoughts of despair,
I just want to know you’ll be mine forever,
I don't want to arrive, to see Him pull the lever.
There’s so much to fear in this world of mine,
But I think with you ill be just fine.
I slap myself at thoughts of you not being here,
Of you not being there,
It hurts me internally,
To think of being with out you,
For the rest of eternity.
It's kinda deep really, one of my many inner struggles. One that im scared to just come out and say, i wrote a poem about it, i dont tink it's too hard to figure out.
